An Immersive and Authentic Documentary Method
My documentary method is based on an investigative-humanist approach: I harbor a deep curiosity for human and social dynamics that drives me to investigate and understand the realities I portray. I completely immerse myself in the explored contexts, seeking to capture the authenticity of the places and the people. I choose to minimize the explanatory voice-over, preferring to give space to the immediacy of experiences and the direct testimonies of the protagonists. This approach aims to offer a raw and authentic look at reality, leaving the viewer the freedom to interpret the complexities that emerge.
